Ginny McGill founded this site in the fall of 2008. After working for several years as a Project Manager for both a commercial general contractor in Washington, DC and an urban developer in Durham, NC, Ginny decided to return home to South Carolina.
She studied German literature and studio art as an undergraduate at Wake Forest University and later received her Masters from the University of Virginia, where she studied Architecture and Landscape Architecture. Prior to completing her graduate work, she worked as an Implementations Specialist in software installation and training and also taught German in the Charlotte, North Carolina public school system.
Her current work blends her favorite interests, experiences and skill sets: project management, design+drawing, fabrication, and product development.
